Winterfest New England
Winterfest is fast approaching for February 2012 in Gatlinburg, TN. We would like for you to consider joining us!
Winterfest is an annual youth rally for approximately 12,000 teens and young adults. We hope to have a group to attend from New England for the third year in a row.
To learn more about it, please come to the Informational Meeting, Saturday November 5th at the Manchester NH church at 10:00 a.m.. We will be done by noontime.

Youth Advance Update
Youth Advance Leadership Conference is coming November 11th – 13th! Bill McGee will be the speaker this year. Bill teaches in interactive and dynamic ways! Come and join us as we learn more about our leadership gifts and how to use them within our youth groups and our congregations.
Friday night will be a banquet and lunch will be provided by Panera Bread and Chick-fil-A. There will also be social and fun time at night out at a local gym. Representatives from universities will be available to answer questions!

Youth Advance
Youth Advance, a leadership conference for teens in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, will be hosting their first annual conference in the fall. This will be taking place Friday, Novemember 11th – Sunday Novemenber 13th at the Homewood Suites Malvern, PA. The cost to attend is $215.00. Youth Advance typically holds their conferences in the spring, but has opted to move their schedule to the fall to help youth who attend have more opportunities to share what they learned with their home congregations.

“Youth Advance’s began with a goal of identifying the most outstanding teenage leaders in Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Churches of Christ, bringing them together and training them to become more involved in the lives of others. Over the past 25 years, more than 1,000 students have benefited from the instruction, fellowship, and motivation they have received at Youth Advance. Upon returning to their home congregations, Youth Advance participants, called “Ambassadors,” share these blessings with their youth group and entire congregation.
Below you will find a flyer for you to share with your congregation, an example of their typical schedule and their seminar curriculm.

Manchester CT Youth Rally
The Manchester Church will be hosting their annual youth rally, Friday Novemember 11th – Sunday, November 13th, 2012. It starts Friday at 7:00 pm. B. Chris Simpson will be the keynote speaker this year, the theme this year is “DEAD FISH.” Chris has spoken at UPLIFT at Harding University as well as the Campus Minister at the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis as well as an interm pulpit minister at the Ferguson Heights Church.
Worship this year will be led by Drew Chancey. Drew is a freelance musician and videographer. He works with RAVE Ministries, David Bowen Poetry and the Winterfest youth rally.
There will be a musical gues, O’Chancey. They will be performing Saturday night.

Lipscomb Live – FAITH:NEXT – Reaching A New Generation
Lipscomb Live is coming to New England. Faith:NEXT, Reaching A New Generation will be the topic of discussion.
Come and discover how God is working among our teens and 20 somethings in our world today. Ministers, church leaders, parents and those who work with teens and young adults are encouraged to attend.
This will be at the Burlington Church in Burlington, MA. You may find directions here. The schedule for the day is below.

Edgewood Youth Rally
The Edgewood Church will be hosting a youth rally, Friday September 30th – Sunday October 2nd, 2011. Brian Grubbs from the Louisville, Ohio Church will be the speaking. The theme this year is “Power Up, Humble Yourselves and He Will Lift You Up.” The Ohio Valley Ambassadors will be performing.
The cost to attend is: Preregistration is $20.00 and $30.00 at-the-door the day of the rally. The deadline for pre-registration is Sunday, September 23rd. Registration is online. Chaperones are free.
T-Shirts will be available. The cost is $10.00 if your pre-order your shirts prior to September 23rd and $12.00 after that date.
